In Rome, the students gathered in the Piazza di Porta San Paolo, where around 10 started the march to the Ministry of Education in Viale Trastevere. Outside the home the boys took to the stairs of the palace singing and dancing to the music, but also through microphones and bullhorns protesting while a delegation of five representatives were received by two officers inside. Many slogans chanted by the students including "Gelmini Minister of d-education" and "Men Can not Jump Gelmini is." In the parade flags, banners, songs and leaflets against the government, the minister Gelmini and the mayor of Rome Alemanno.
