Initiative "for the night school" of 15 October 08
We wish to clarify the school authorities and towns which will be the manner in which the schools of the province of Bologna manifest their dissent with the Decree Law 137, which these days is being considered by Parliament.
As many critics and concerned about the future state of public schools were completely unheeded and government statements, however, to proceed with the vote of confidence on the desire to leave no doubt
I do not listen continue on the line, the schools of Bologna have decided to find peaceful and creative ways to inform and discuss with all of what the consequences of this law.
We parents and teachers who care about the future of this country, we do not want to scare anyone, we just want to make our voice heard, because we know what we are talking about and what is at stake.
We do not want our struggle to be passed
as a matter of public policy.
On the afternoon of October 15, at the end of the learning activities, parents, pupils and teachers of many schools within the school buildings will stop to perform activities of different types, which will last for several hours, depending on individual cases.
These activities will be conducted in full compliance of the equipment of school buildings and spaces, to ensure the normal resumption of educational activities on the morning of 16, without causing any discomfort.
The activities will be many, varied, democratic, peaceful, joyful:
- Debates
expressive workshops
music and dance
readings
shows
film screenings
activities for children
Many accessions have already arrived in the initiative by the culture and characters of the show in Bologna that will then be welcome guests in the schools.
Supervision of buildings will be ensured by the presence of personal assistant where it will be possible, but by teachers and parents of school communities.
