Gelmini opens YouTube channel "So I compare it with the boys"
Immediate response of the network: get hundreds of comments to the video. Some positive,
but also a lot of messages that reproduce the criticisms and doubts of the Wave
ROME - Mariastella Gelmini lands on YouTube. The Minister of Education, owner of the reform school, he decided to take advantage of the most popular video sharing site in the world to start a confrontation with young people after months of protests. "I decided to open a channel on YouTube because I intend to confront you on the school and the university," Gelmini said in the video that launched the initiative today.
The Minister carries out the will of dialogue: "I welcome ideas, projects, proposals, criticisms," he says. But he adds: "One thing I will never do, to defend the status quo or give up the privileges or to waste. We must have the courage to change and we must do together. "
Internet becomes the preferred channel for making contact with the students, after months of protests and demonstrations. The stated goal is "to explain the reforms in progress without filters and clearly, so that every student can form an opinion on the steps taken by the Ministry." Each week, the Minister will respond to young people about issues of school, university and research.
The initiative has been moved the young people of the network in a few hours, hundreds of comments on his video. There are many who will compliment the openness to dialogue, as Kimera 1986 ("Great idea, using YouTube as a powerful tool will allow you to get in touch directly with us"). Or Kappafreestyle, who writes: "A great initiative Mariastella."
But here, too many doubts come back, slogans and the criticisms that have fueled the wave. The first comment, for example, is to Lantenengogirl, which says: "Change what? Cut teachers and resources in primary education, that even in the OECD statistics shone over all the Italian school system, there seems to be a positive change? ". Vpervendettass, however, is on the staff, "Minister politely - he writes - it would explain why his degree was awarded in Calabria?".
Driven by curiosity many have clicked on the video of the Gelmini: 15 000 to 14 were the views of the page. And among insults, judgments, and compliments, there are physical expressions of appreciation to the minister: "Her look is perfect!" Notes Batifelix. Finally there is anyone who suggests an ironic question: "And 'the cleverest Cortellesi to imitate the minister. But who is this? ".

Denounce the grave and made many comments in response censored videos. (For example some of my) first moderated and then after it is turned off, shamelessly deleting those uncomfortable. Leaving only the comments "light" and not attempt to determine something that matters?
I find it an insult to our intelligence ...
